This high-quality astringent is crafted with organic and natural ingredients, including 100% pure witch hazel (Hamamelis Virginiana). Unlike conventional store-bought witch hazel, our all-natural version is significantly lower in alcohol content. Our unique formulas are formulated with organic herbal extracts and 100% pure essential oils, all carefully chosen for their therapeutic benefits. These formulas are created by infusing the herbs into a menstrum of witch hazel distillate, alcohol and glycerin for three weeks. Essential oils are added in the final phase before they are placed into glass container with a fine mist nozzle for application. The two formulas are:
*Rosemary & Mint: Rosemary is a natural antibacterial, and anti-fungal herb which is helpful in treating acne (especially cystic acne) as well as aiding in preventing future blemishes. The mint is very cooling and soothing to the skin, plus it is a good way to wake your skin up in the morning.
Ingredients: Hamamelis Virginiana (witch hazel), deionized water, alcohol, Rosmarinus Officinalis extract, Menthe Piperita extract, Benzyl alcohol, Salicylic acid, Sorbic acid and Glycerin.
*Chamomile, Calendula and Geranium: Chamomile and calendula are both very gentle and soothing herbs. These herbs are often used in baby care products for their gentle nature. They are great at helping soothe dry, dull skin as well. The geranium helps add a luxurious glow to the skin by removing dead cells from the skins surface. It has natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and is also helpful in soothing inflamed acne prone skin.
Ingredients: Hamamelis Virginiana (witch hazel), Chamomilla Recutita Flower extract, Deionized Water, Alcohol, Calendula Officinalis extract, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Benzyl Alcohol, Salicylic Acid, Sorbic Acid, Glycerin.
Directions: Spray a liberal amount all over the face and neck after cleansing skin. Can be used morning and night. Allow to sink into the skin before adding serums and moisturizers over top. Shake well before each use.
**Keep in refrigerator to extend the shelf life or provide a cooling and tightening effect to the skin. Product has a shelf life at room temperature for 12 months.
